WILLOW BOWEN
Mentoring Writers ran a free Short Story Writing Competition in the Summer of 2020 in which entrants had to write a story based upon a variety of titles all aimed for younger children. The number of entrants was amazing with Willow Bowen being our youngest entrant.
Following the success of the competition we published a small book, titled The Mystical Treehouse, which included the winning entries, of which Willow was one. She took the book to school and was ultimately included in the online and print versions of the Weston Mercury, her local newspaper.
Willow is aged 11 years old.
